At the Show Jumping we met
Gianernesto Zanin.
He was doubly motivated to
participate, in fact besides
representing the CCIAA of Padua
as the tourist delegate, Zanin
was also there for an emotional
reason: his love for horses. He
owns one that unfortunately
wasn’t able to compete because
of an accident that happened at
Gradisca. Besides his daughter
is a professional horse-rider.
When we ask why CCIAA continues
to believe in Abano’s CSI, Zanin
answers:
“The Chamber of Commerce
believes in the sporting events
as a means to promote the area
and for this reason supports
them. For this 2005-2006 season
the province also has the luck
to host the football
championship A series thanks to
the use of the Euganeo Stadium
by the Treviso team. One of the
Chamber’s aims - Zanin continues
- is to increase the value of
the city’s area, such as the
Paduan one, which offers many
possibilities, and this aim has
spurred me to personally
organize Padua’s first White
Night”. The representative
stresses that Abano has one of
the most beautiful horse-riding
courses and both for the
location and the welcome, it is
always loved very much by the
guests. “In these 3 years the
event has developed a lot and
its international esteem is
shown by the 130 foreign horses
competing in this edition -
Zanin expertly states - Abano is
working well in this sense and
the excellent results are due to
all the behind-the-scene-work
that such an event requires.
It can surely aim at becoming an
excellent feature”. Forces are
gathering in order to achieve
actual results regarding
well-designed strategic plans,
we wish that these efforts will
produce the results they deserve!
