Open 7 days a week,
365 days a year,
it offers a “daily show” to the eye of
the curious passer-by. Groups of knights
and amazons, young and old, skilled and
unskilled, trying out the equestrian
activities more for passion than for
sport.
|
|
| |
The focal point of these daily
activities is the Abano Terme Horse
Centre (CEAT)
Riding School, a structure
devoted to the training at all ages,
carried on by highly qualified
instructors.

Aware of the
importance of tourism in
Abano Terme, the Riding
School offers a remarkable
contribution enriching the
thermal holiday with a
naturalistic connotation; at the
horse courtyard tourists are
offered riding lessons, private
or in small groups.
A short interview with the
instructor is necessary to
understand your starting level
as well as plan the number and
frequency of the lessons,
depending on the availability of
time the participant has.
For those parents who would
like their children to try a
recreational and entertaining
activity, the Riding School
has specialized lessons ranging
from beginner to advanced levels.
The lessons are good for
children from the age of 7 to
teen-agers.

The equestrian centre in Villa Bassi
is equipped also for tourists arriving
in Abano with their own horses. All you
have to do is to reserve a stable for
the length of your stay in town and the
horse will be taken care of.

Another goal at the Abano Terme Horse
Centre is to develop the practice of the
hippotherapy medical science,
which is a complex of techniques that
help you to overcome sensorial,
cognitive and behavioural injuries with
the help of the recreational relaxation
that occurs while riding. The therapy is
performed with the help of a qualified,
authorized personal therapist.
This project represents an
ambitious social commitment, that
acknowledges the importance and validity
of horse riding as a rehabilitative
technique and augments the scarce
presence of qualified centres in the
territory.
